BlizzCon was this weekend. Friday morning was a very interesting one to say the least. Started off fine, I told my roommate that I would wait for him to get off work before I left for the convention center, which I did. After he got off work he proceeded to inform me that we wouldn't be able to leave until AAA came and towed his car since it broke down the day prior. So, we waited and when he finally got here he couldn't manage to get the car out of the parking structure so we had to sit and wait there for another 30 minutes until I finally told my roommate that I wasn't going to sit around all day and miss something I paid good money for. We left the car in the not-so-capable hands of the AAA guy. I'm not two minutes down the road when a cat darts out in front of my car and I have to slam on the brakes in hopes that it manages to get out of the way in time, which it does. At that point I'm thinking it's going to be one of those days.
Anyway we made it to the convention in one piece and made it to one of the first panels. BlizzCon is fun but the lines just get sort of ridiculous after a while. After the panel I went to stand in line for Diablo III. After playing I went back to the Main Stage in order to catch the costume & dance contests, hilarity ensued.
This kid ended up breaking his leg. If you watch closely you can actually see the bone in his knee snap.
Ended up having to work Saturday but managed to make it back to Anaheim in time for Tenacious D. Dave Grohl actually ended up being there and he played drums with them. All-in-all pretty cool experience.
In other news I still don't know what I'm going to be for Halloween yet and it's next weekend! I've also noticed that I'm usually so busy running around that I don't eat as healthy as I would like to. I need to start making more home cooked meals and start going out less. Who wants to come cook for me?
That's all for now!
