I have now gotten my FOURTH broken treo from verizon... Seriously, this is starting to resemble a bad sit-com. Four in a row, all of them broken in the exact same way out of the box.
At least now the customer service person agreed to upgrade me to the next version. I think it was my pointing out that I know they're just sending me other peoples RMA'd phones that did it, because they *last* person told me that it was up to the people at the distribution center whether I got a new one or not (and surprise surprise, even though it's company policy, I did not get the upgrade that time).

also on a side note, i may have a company to work with that can make all talk-to-text functions for text/emails on ALL phones - so you can speak your email into the mic & itll send - all that at the touch of a button!
