January and February suck... These are the months that businesses tighten their belts, and don't authorize any IT expenses. People just blew all of their money on christmas, so they don't want to blow more of it fixing their computer, they'll just suffer for a bit.
These are the months that I stare at my empty calendar and start to wonder if this is the year that my little enterprise will collapse, and I'll be forced to do something drastic, like get a job.
I've never had a job before, at least not a real one, not a grownup job. The last real job I had was washing cars for $6 an hour at a rental place about 6 years ago, and that only lasted about a month before I was given the keys, the checkbook and hiring responsibilities. After that was the .com that I started with the crazy israeli, and then this.
I think about these things as I'm watching my bank accounts slowly dwindle. I plot out how many months I can go before I hit the point of no return, and can't remain solvent.
Then March comes. The phone starts ringing, owners and managers start talking about the next upgrade, servers are added to the racks, people start getting tired of not being able to get online, or their computer being slow. Things start looking up again
