So I went to Sundance and scrounged around and saw a number of films. What Is It? might have been my favorite. It is directed by that master of creepy awkwardness, Crispin Glover. It's very counter culture, surrealist kinda shit, not for everybody.
Mirror Mask was another good one. I'd actually been waiting to see this one. It's a collaboration between Neil Gaiman, Dave McKean, and Jim Henson Productions. A very surreal kid's story, much in the vein of Labrynth.
I've returned to L.A. and have been collaborating musically with my friend, Garren. We've created a musical identity which we call "eat your soup". If you dig psychedelic, ambient shit, you should check out the four tracks we recorded. They can be found here: eat your soup profile page.
