I'm skinny, but not that flexible. would I be in checked luggage? airplane seats themselves are bad enough. they don't even deliver peanuts or sodas in tiny plastic cups to the luggage compartment!

wish I could. I've been wanting to travel and I miss Portland/Seattle since I haven't been there in five years....but I can't get out of work until mid September at the earliest.

yeah. it fucking pissed me off to no end. It was like....he just wasted an amazing story up that point. everything that happened was for absolutely nothing. and it was such a cop-out. First he ends the story with Roland just getting in to the tower...and then teases you along to the rest of the ending. Just ending it with him attaining the tower would have been frustrating, but not nearly as angering as what he did after that. what a fuck head. he just wanted to finish the story as quickly as he could. there's no other explanation for him finishing the last three books all right on top of each other like that. I should go to Maine and cut him.

Oh, well I had actually guessed the Snape thing when I finished book 6, so I was waiting the whole book for that. Also, I just read YSKOV in a class this last term. It was good. I love McSweeneys.

yeh it sucks for my dad. the worst part is that they told him that they had gotten all the cancer out...or at least thought that they had...then three days later they come back and are "well......actually...."

actually this wisdom tooth removal was cake compared to when the military did it. on one, they couldn't get it numb, so they just had a huge orderly come in and lean on my chest while they broke it apart and pulled it out.

I'm not necesserily a huge Whedon fan, but I am a huge Serenity fan. Never got into the Buffy/Angel series though. mainly probably because, until recently, I hadn't owned a tv since 1999. I've got Serenity and Firefly in my dvd collection now though.

I'm not sure when I'll make it back up to the PacNW. I would like to do it sometime soon, but I'm saving all my pennies right now for a trip to NYC/Romania in October. I know. I know.. If I don't make it up there, you'll cut me.

I couldn't hold off on the HP book and read it last week. I liked it, but it definitely had some parts and events that I was a ltttle miffed over. like with every other series, I feel like I should reread the whole thing from start to finish again.

jobs... hassles. I finally have one that is near perfect. I hope the benefits change a bit if they did it would be perfect. I get to ride my bike to work, nobody bothers me at work, I am well respected, I get to work from home when I want...

Yeah an always visible tattoo is a very strong statement. Strong statements will always set on portion or another of any given population on edge. As such they will always limit your options within that population.

What do I do? I work in IT now. Computer stuff... I design email and instant messaging systems for corporations along with all the regulatory compliance policies around records retention etc...

The bike rides I took this last week were a bridge just a bit too far. I had to scale it back a bit but I am hoping to take another ride tomorrow before I go out to my grandmothers to take care of her.
