After about a month, finally went through and put everything in my "checkbook"....I use an app on my phone, so I can enter the information and go from there. thankfully everything lined up and I didn't overdraw or anything.
what a way to start your "vacation" (since I have tomorrow off). after that, did some vacuuming ("uber" vacuumed my living room....if I could move it I did. also included window sills) and vacuumed my dining room and hallway. already did my kitchen and bathroom yesterday. so I have to vacuum my bedroom and move some stuff around (putting my comic book collection in my closet). what a joyous way for a holiday, huh? there is one advantage of a small 1-bedroom apartment....I don't have as much to clean. I also put indoor/outdoor tape along the cracks of my screens (cheap screens, flimsy plastic, so it warps every easily.....if there is a gap it gets taped. helps to keep the bugs out if I open the windows).
so tomorrow will be laundry and maybe some work. Friday was fun, since my supervisor was gone and we all left 1 1/2 hours early. although one person in our "leadership team" kept asking about how long we think a process will take....he didn't listen when we explained to him:
1. We don't know what the process will be fully.
2. We don't know what the interface of the program we have to use will be. its still being built.
3. We will have to use an on-line system, so what is the bandwidth and capacity for speeds?
4. We have no idea what information we will have, how many screens to click, or anything.
Despite all of this, he kept going. finally said "You know what, get some dice, throw them on the floor and pick some numbers....that's the best we can do." how else do you get through?
so yeah, that's my weekend. what about yours?
