winding down week 2 of my gym membership, still going to the gym on a (somewhat) regular basis....that is, I'm going 5 to 6 days a week and sticking with what the trainer guy at the gym recommended as a starting program for me. I've tinkered some with the amount of weight I use for the exercises (gone up on a few of them) as I go, though..hope he doesn't mind!
next week is my final "full" week at Wegmans as well. after that, its weekends only. and the way things are going, that will change to "no longer available" sooner rather than later. between a desire for some R&R time and the stress the job creates (for the pay it offers), its not worth it for me. I drive 15 miles 1 way for a part time job and, depending on who the person is, might get limited respect. oh well, such is life.
outside of that, not too much else. trying to get a regular sleep schedule.....woke up about 45 minutes before my alarm. now I have to get ready to work at 6 AM. come home, change, maybe eat a little bit and do about an hour of cardio. play some Heroclix and eat....wake up tomorrow and hit the gym and (maybe, just maybe) see my father for the first time in about 2 years. yeah, that's a scary thought as well (during that time, grew and shaved off a goatee and got glasses!). well, he retired last week, so no excuses or anything!
think that's about it....another Heroclix tournament on the 26th and Free Comic Book Day on May 4th (aka, the 1st Saturday in May). came in 4th the last tournament (down from 1st the previous one). lost the final game to the 1st place player (who happens to be on my team as well, so that's good). not bad since I started playing not even a year ago. as some of the other players have said "You have studied things and really picked it up!" plus I practice all I can!
yeah, that's about it...time to check a few things on-line, take a shower and shave and get ready for a 4 hour register shift. thankfully they go quickly at this time in the morning. Wednesday was interesting...8 hours on register during the day. perfect thing for a strong introvert, huh? resulted in me getting out of work, hitting the gym ,and sleeping for a long time that night....and that felt good!

Good thing you're working out though. I need to start doing that.
Yeah, it will take awhile.
