well, in about 2 weeks, I hope to say good-bye to the crazy ass work schedule I have had for the past 6 years or so and start on a career instead of a job.
to give you a hint about what I mean....here's my work schedule the past week:
Sunday 11:30 PM to Monday 8:00 AM
Monday 11:30 PM to Tuesday 8:00 AM
Wednesday 11:45 AM to 3:45 PM
Thursday Off
Friday 6:00 AM to 10:15 AM
Saturday 1:15 PM to 6:00 PM
and next week I work..
Sunday 11:30 PM to Monday 8:00 AM
Monday 11:30 PM to Tuesday 8:00 AM
Wednesday 7:15 AM to 3:45 PM
Thursday Off
Friday 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Saturday Off
from how things look, I might be replacing this work schedule with:
Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with a 1 hour lunch)
for a few weeks at least I'll be working at Wegmans weekends. I have to get some pay for the (up to) a month before I get paid by the County. I've been trying to (vainly) find a pay schedule of some kind for the County and failing. and it really sucks. I really want to know how things operate (do I have to wait a month to get paid? 3 weeks? 2 weeks? what?)
after that...I think my time at Wegmans will soon come to an end. some of the management are going on power trips and getting on my nerves. and the place is way too full of upper management figuring out ways to get paid with minimal work by pawning it off on others. IE, our manager for the Natures Market section gets asked a question, and her response is "I don't know.....ask my assistant." honestly...if you ran a department, how do you not know everything about the department?
and outside of that...1 week down at Planet Fitness. thankfully its open 24 hours during the week....since I have such an odd schedule. I have a 5 day workout plan (with 2 days of rest).
Days 1, 3, and 5 - part cardio and part weights
Days 2 and 4 - all cardio
and that goes for 2 weeks....hopefully add more leg work than what I currently have starting weeks 3 and 4. and even better will be a somewhat normal work to allow me to better schedule my work out schedule. while I have no desire to bulk up, being in shape would be nice. at least a shape that isn't round. besides, my blood pressure is getting higher than I prefer (its approaching the Hypertension Stage I listing....and I would prefer it to be in the "good" range), so the cardio work (IE, about an hour on a treadmill) should help that out.
I think that's about it....I have sleep tonight (at some kind). I was wicked tired Friday night....since I slept maybe 4 hours Thursday night. ended up falling asleep in the chair while watching "Grimm" on TV. fell asleep around 11 PM, ended up waking up around 11:30 AM or so (planned on waking up earlier). it did feel nice to sleep, that is for sure! just not sure when sleep will coming tonight.
thankfully at least, while I was scheduled 4+ hours on register today, spent most of the time outside. and got things going. so that's nice!
and what is up with you?
