my tax returns are now done. I filed the Federal tax returns around Friday (I was able to access the W-2 from my employer then on-line) and just completed my state tax returns. I get a refund from both, so want it done quickly. bite me Congress if you want to try and hold my tax returns hostage for your political BS.

most annoying part.....for the state tax returns, there were 3 different websites/programs listed to file my state tax returns electronically for free. I tried TurboTax Intuit....got to the end and they wanted me to pay for my state taxes.

same with Tax Slayer.

it was the 3rd program that finally allowed me to file my state tax returns for free....bastards!

and in other news....tour guide today, work at 4 PM tomorrow and 5 PM Saturday. be a geek on Friday. and still got to upload/take a few pictures of me with my new glasses. nothing special.....I'm a minimalist. and since I wear dark colors quite a bit, the frames are black.

so far, I've been told I look more "sophisticated" with my glasses....is that a compliment or an insult veiled in a compliment? that is the question!
