still no car, still pissed. not as much that my car is gone. but come on....if you borrow someone's car, you drive it for the essentials only. if you live in 2 square mile town and work in that same town, I can not think of any good reason to put about 1000 (yes, that is 3 zeroes after the one!) miles on the car in about a month. and then when it is leaking transmission fluid, you don't go "Hey, I'll drive here and there and everywhere!" my motto....if I borrow something, I am obligated to return it to you in the same or better condition then when I got it. IE, one summer, when my sister left her car so she could drive my Mom's Jeep to North Carolina, I noticed that she had no radiator fluid in the reservoir (and when I called her and asked her about it, her response was "Yeah, I know," like it was no big deal). so took some anti-freeze/coolant I had previous purchased and filled it up. only to have it leak out. think she eventually had to replace the engine because of the damage to the car....that she caused!
guess she does not have that mindset, though. yeesh...I lived in Fredonia, NY and Geneva, NY, visited family in Rochester (and a girl I was kind of dating south of Albany) and had less than 99,000 miles on the car after 10 1/2 years. think about it...I don't drive my car just to drive it. but I guess my sister and her boyfriend do!
so in a week or two, if she has no answer to when she is getting her car back, I'm going to tell her "buy my car for $2000 please". here's how I figure it....
Kelly Blue Book
2002 Dodge Neon SXT package with Cruise Control, Automatic
99,900 miles (no real difference between this and 98,900)
in "Fine" condition, which means rust, engine leaks, and in need of some repair, the car is valued at $2440. since my car has minimal rust (1 square inch or less on the hood) and it had no leaks or anything when she got the car (and needed the A/C recharged only), I'm pretty sure it qualifies as "Fine" at the least. and since she just paid $500 for a new laptop.....something better happen soon!
outside of that....weekend is almost here. thinking of dropping the overnight shifts. I'm starting to feel as if the management at my store take advantage of my willingness to work hard. just dump more and more work on me, and reduce the help I have. why reward someone working hard...when you can reward those who don't work as hard by giving them less work! so we'll see. that or I need a serious vacation!
so Sunday morning my younger sister returned to NC with her dog and the thing she married. we were watching her dog for about a week. considering that my Mom is allergic...yeah, that was run. the sheets and towels he was laying on have been washed in hot water and washed again. the chair and couch have been thoroughly vacuumed. and so has the run he lied on mostly (use some Arm and Hammer carpet cleaner powder as well). Swiffered the hardwood floors (Swiffer Vac) to pull up hair from there, too. so all is better now.
hmm, that's about it.....what about you?

kind of bites that you get penalized for working harder/better so you get less help, meaning you have to do more work than before.
Refer to point 2....
