let's see...what updates can I say?
my sister got the job at Wegmans. she starts on the 15th. she called to tell her current boss the information, he acted like he was happy for her and said that he could look at getting her out early next week (her final week). she told him not to worry, she is available all week.
and on the schedule....she had 1 days scheduled. so your most experienced photographer who gets the least complaints and is the person called all the time to answer questions (and never calls) gets one day. yeah, not like he was driving her out. oh well, let the company have fun.....after all, the "lead photographer" (aka, owner's 4th wife) told everyone to not call her before 8 AM because she is a working mother now. and told the photographers when the teachers ask for the stickers to give to kids, not to listen to the teachers. yeah, that's going to keep a school.
worked Saturday...out of the 6 hours scheduled for maintenance (BTW, left 15 minutes early or so) I spent maybe 2 hours working maintenance. most of the time I was on register. it kind of sucked.
get home....my car is making a weird noise at low idles after its run for about 15 to 20 minutes. not happy....its a 2002 Dodge Neon with 98,500 miles on it. don't want anything to happen, since I don't have the money (well, I know my step-father has access to it, but he'll throw a fit.....which is funny since he had no problems taking his sister's car in for an inspection and paying the money to get it fixed). got home, got ready for the Heroclix tournament.
came, in, oh, about 4 or 5 spots from the bottom. didn't lose a game totally (IE, when the time limit ended, I had pieces on the board) but didn't win much either. except the last game. my neighbor watched and told me to be more aggressive. and I was. I was running an Avengers theme team. the winner of the tournament ran a scientist theme team. thankfully, no one running a Chase Thanos Killbox team won. which I'm glad about. its one thing to build a team....another thing totally to look up a self-playing, virtually unbeatable team on-line. case in point.... Google "Chase Thanos Killbox team heroclix" and you can get an idea of the team used (mostly it was Chase Thanos, Kang/Doom chase, and Black Adam chase). now I have to prepare for a 500 point, no gauntlet team (yesterday was a 1000 point, gauntlet, at least 500 points from the last three sets, all modern age team).
so now time to get ready for work, apply for jobs, laugh at the politicians, and go from there!

Yes...im sure it was the sleep deprivation that caused the paranoia, and not...
I like the next to last line you wrote. That sums things up for me as well.
Good luck, my friend!
