finished re-reading "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" yesterday, time to continue Neil Gaimen's "American Gods". and continuing on Neil Peart's book "Ghost Rider". in chapter 2, he talks about failing his motorcycle license test twice, in part due to his lack of coordination. so a man who has been a major influence in drumming for 20+ years and considered by many as the best drummer in the past 20 years or so has issues with coordination? I do find a little humor in that statement.
outside of that, not too much else. watching "Colbert Report" and other shows now. it was interesting when one of his guests (a Nobel Prize winning economist) said that if Mitt Romney is elected President, we could look at a situation like Ireland....with 0% economic growth and I think about 30% youth unemployment. scary indeed. waiting for the new season of Warehouse 13 and getting Fringe on DVD now.
and Monday my Mom made a promise to me....if GWAR comes to a venue in the area where she can sit down, she'll go to the show. how great would it be for a 60+ year old woman to go to a GWAR concert? and talked to my dad on Sunday....he told me that he plans on retiring next year and moving to Florida. he does that....well, won't feel so bad for not seeing him for years at a time (its been about 2 years now....just haven't had our schedules sync up yet!)
anyone read this blog anyways?
