in the middle of reading "Somebody, Somewhere" by Donna Williams (her follow-up book to "Nobody, Nowhere"). the book is her life story and she deals with her autism. quite enlightening and interesting, if this is a subject of interest to you, since she provides an understanding not only for her behaviors but what she is thinking and experiencing. one of my old managers read "Nobody, Nowhere" and commented on how she understands the behavior of her nephew, who has Autism, so much more now because of the book. a good read.
the odd part.....I'm starting to read the book now and ask myself questions, trying to figure out why things work out the way they do, and what the possible meaning behind these connections might mean. I'm also starting to think of possible research in the field of Psychology....such as correlating personality profiles and autism to see if there are connections.
guess this means I"m a Psychology nerd, huh? considering that I'm reading the book and thinking about these things for my leisure!
your opinion?
