well, just sent an e-mail to Sallie Mae....something like this:
"I am in a forbearance, as per the letter dated XX/XX/2011 from the dates XX/XX/2011 through XX/XX/2012. This week I received notification of an automatic debit set-up that I did NOT request, and the letter was blank regarding my account information. Afterwards, I received a bill, even though I am in forbearance. Why is this?"
let's see if I get a response other than "This is how you sign up for a deferment." if I get that, time to scan in the letter, and send an e-mail "Would you please make sure customer service READS this e-mail and the attached letter. Why would I sign up for something you have already granted?"
gotta love the government and how it works sometimes, huh?
