blah blah blah blah blah.
sleep schedule is who knows. tough part is the heat is turned on now....so my room will hit the sauna level (it tends to run much warmer then the rest of the house). really should have invested in the portable thermostat that I could take in my room!
had the interview yesterday. 2 positions, so that should help. and given the fact that its so late, the candidate pool has to be pretty small. I do hope I got the position ($31,000 a year plus benefits and furnished apartment). gives me opportunities I don't normally have (like, hey, save up some money and just maybe make it to Gala one of these years!). add to that a health initiative...yeah, I could dig that!
so my sister got bad news about her car. my older sister's car is not in the best of shape....then again, I wonder how much care she takes of her car. considering the inside has piles of magazines and such...probably not good. a few weeks ago, my mom had her car, and her low coolant light kept coming on. my neighbor (who knows about cars) and I took a look....he had to pry the overflow tank cap off with a screwdriver. odd position (but good)...the overflow tank is on the side and towards the front of the engine compartment, so you can look down into it. so we did....it was bone dry. filled it up and go from there.
well, her car had fluids leaking. brought it to a mechanic....she needs a new head gasket. ouch for her!
and my younger sister just found out recently she has an extra vertebrae. which is causing back pain for her now. since they (finally) discovered it (at age 28), it means she can start taking care of it now.
as for me....I work tonight until 9:30 PM, then tomorrow at 7:30 AM. it could suck, since I'm outside and its supposed to rain. I'm off Saturday and then work Sunday night. no rain Saturday, so I'm attacking a shrub on the side of the house, maybe whack it down so I do not have to get the ladder out to trim it next time!
and get back into job searching...there has to be something out there! somewhere! yeah, I'm part of the, what is it, 17% or so that falls under the "unemployed/underemployed" category. I work part-time since I can not find a full-time job. but hey, let's free up regulations for the banks....it did such a stellar job last time for our economy! maybe we'll get another crash 20 years or so from now!
and that's about it.....a little tired. so today could suck. since the person I'm taking over for (maintenance) does a crap job. he's lazy. 18 years old and thinks he's hot shit. huge drinker....wondering how long until he fails out of college. and has to grow up sooner or later (one day he was bitching about working 8 hours....one girl slammed into him, mentioning how she worked 10+ hours that day, since she doesn't have her parents paying her bills...he shut up). honestly, getting out of Wegmans would be nice! and if I get the job at RIT, I'll be leaving at the end of the year. and then, a few weeks later, since the full-time overnight cashier talks shit about me all the time, and yet the registers (the job is re-filling the candy) are pretty barren when it comes to the candy. and of all the stores I've been in/worked in, the store I work in is the only one like that. so I'll make a comment asking why. payback is a bitch after all, right?
and I just think of this for him.....he has 3 or 4 children with his wife, yet rumor is he got a female employee pregnant. his wife is currently not working due to a thyroid problem as well...yup, he's screwed in the divorce! no matter what he tries to say. and I have no pity for him either!
well, that's all....what are your weekend plans? me....cleaning my room up some (hopefully). and putting away my laundry (eventually).
