typically I try to remain out of politics...it pisses me off. I don't watch the speeches on TV or read the blogs or anything usually. because, well, to me, its a "How can I make things look good with big words that are pretty hollow since I rehearsed what I'm going to say over and over again."
today, Obama made a speech that had me going "Damn...now that's how its done." take the arguments against what you want to do and shoot them down. and look at Congress and go "Here's what the people want....period." finally, he grew a sack (no offense) and called the politicians on their BS.
I like it.
in other news.....good luck to those encountering the floods! hopefully something abates soon....this is getting insane with the weather we're experiencing lately!
