so my car is fixed...kind of.
the neighbor got the spark plug out. cracked the ceramic, but nothing else. put on some anti-seize and the electrolytic grease. still got the tick, though.
then he noticed....the clamp to the hose that connects to my radiator was not clamped. okay....clamp it down, check....no fluid in the reservoir. go and get it filled, run the car....drip drip drip from a hose going to the radiator. another hose, loose (where the cap is) that needs a clamp. put one there. car runs.
turn it off.....go to do something else, walk back and see fluid under the car. huh? open the hood....the hose to the radiator is off. joys.
so he got that clamped back on. and noticed...the fluid was red/peach. filled it again, and noticed what looks like oil floating on top. considering what happened in November/December....yup, another flush coming my way!
so need the money for a new car!
