work last night, what a great way to make you really feel misanthropic.....people wonder why my store isn't doing so great....
surround yourself with clueless cashiers. one, she's an old lady, just walks away from her register whenever she wants to. and no one in management says a word. that was to the right of me.
to the left....a cashier who won't shut the f*ck up! to the point where customers are leaving and she's still talking at them!
I was told they were busy. was it busy or the fact that you have slow ass cashiers working a Saturday night. seriously....if there are 2 cashiers on, and one is moving 3 or 4 TIMES the amount of customers through his or her line with bigger orders, there's a problem!
then you add the mid-level managers (coordinators, who run the front-end at night) that don't finish their jobs...and would rather sit there making suggestive comments to a high school girl then do his job. even better...he was standing right next to this girl's Aunt (who also works as a cashier).
yeah, just a few of my rants. its really bad when your co-workers piss you off more than the customers! a new "MI" (Management Intern) decided to spend a good part of his shift chatting it up with the employees...fine and all....EXCEPT NOT ON THE CLOCK AND IGNORING YOUR JOB!!! yeesh!

on a happier note...the Night Manager said how his daughter brought a tear to his eye. he asked her what she wanted for her birthday..

then again, she is the one when a boy her age grabbed her by the shoulders, she head butted him, making him bleed quite nicely, then told her dad "He messed with the wrong girl."
