i had a super rockin time at SXSW in austin this weekend!
and i did it all without having to buy a wristband...
on thursday, st. paddy's day...we went to several different shows! first we saw Cheerleader and The Heatseekers at Chuggin Monkey...sexy lady in the heatseekers...meow!
then we drank a whole lot, then a whole lot more....we cruised around 6th street and stumbled into Cucharacha's because the place looked super cool and there was some serious loud screaming happening....then we went to Redrum
to see the No Idea Records show...we caught Whiskey & co. and J church...they rocked...but we had to leave before it was over because we were wasted crazy drunk! damn shots of Patron will do that too ya!
then on Friday, we went shopping at Momoko where i bought lots of cool japanese stuff! and had tea with "pearls" in it??? weird ...
we kinda took it easy on friday night because we were all soooooooo hung over AND since we did not have wristbands, it made it difficult to impossible to get into the shows i wanted to see. i wanted to see Pretty Girls Make Graves but we didnt get to
BUT i did see them eating lunch that day in our hotel!! they stayed under the same roof as me! yeah they rock...and are super cute too!
saturday we went shopping again...this time to a very cool antiques store...Uncommon Objects and another cool store...Monkey see Monkey do...where i bought way too much stuff! then we had sushi and waited in line to be sure i got to see my favorite band ever...Cruiserweight
we saw another cool band...Feable Weiner and lots of other bands before cruiserweight closed out the show! they rocked some serious ass! they rocked soo hard that the guitarist, Urni cut his hand really good and just duck taped that shit up and continued to play the rest of the show! HARD CORE!!
now i am back and have to go to freakin work tomorrow! ack! oh well it was super fun and i am off of work this friday!

Austin looks fun, I haven't had a chance to visit there yet. Always hearing good shit about it.
