So I resigned from the paper .. getting up at 3:00 am for $20 Monday-Saturday and $60 on Sunday isnt worth it ....

I need to sleep through the night.

Maine has been wicked hot and sticky this week. It would be awfully nice to have air conditioning in here .... But when its pretty here its wicked pretty.

I am opening with my wife Man of La Mancha at Saco River Grange Hall in Bar Mills, Maine on Friday. This will be the first acting I have done since High School (although I have done some Improv and Stand-Up) ... I am playing Paco one of the "rough men" muliteers and my wife is playing the Governor.

I also saw a really good TV show yesterday, 30 Days. I think I saw the first episode "Minimum Wage" where Morgan Sperlock and his fiancee spent 30 days getting paid almost nothing (which I am sure many of you know well) ... This episode is well worth finding on FX or renting on Netflix in the near future. "Super Size Me" was not a fluke. ****1/2

I also saw Willy Wonka which i thought was excellent until Johnny Depp's absolutely bizarre Wonka (who had some Micheal Jackson notes) ... I also thought the one actor playing all the oompa loompas was odd. Did love the buckets though ***

And War of the World is VERY worth seeing ... I think its the scariest movie I have seen since 28 Days Later .... I would say more but I dont want to give anything away ****1/2
