Reading "A Cook's Tour: In Search of the Perfect Meal" by Anthony Bourdain and thinking of great meals I have had.
Most recently: a small restraunt in a strip mall near Trois Rivories, Quebec of a steak and potatoes and wine in a little inexpensive bistro that was better then the fancier places I went in Quebec City on our Honeymoon around July 7th.
My wedding rehearsal dinner on July 2nd at my parents-in-law's cabin on Davis Pond near Monson, ME ... With Lobster and lots of clams with still some sand and good wine and great margaritas and a little of me Kareoke singing..... A lot of fun followed by a great wedding the next day.
A simple peppers and tomato based pasta I made when I was a freshman at the University of Chicago and was playing around cooking. Amazed that it tasted good, really good ) ...
And of course just a nice roast beef or turkey cooking all day at my parent's house....
Anybody want to share perfect meals of their own???

Life is unfair sometimes.
That's alright - i still have my childlike sense of wonder.
