So the Mets-Marlins game was lots of fun last night ... Got to see batting/fielding practice for the Marlins .. Grabbed two balls I think that were hit by Nunez (#27) and OF for the Marlins.
Got good free food, hamburgers, hot dogs, cracker jacks, potato salad, etc.
Also got ball signed by Hall of Famer Tom Seaver, Rusty Staub and Coach Gary Pettit .... Even gave away one of the balls to a kid ...
In the game, the Mets starter got shelled for 6 runs in the first inning before the Mets came back to tie the game before losing 9-7. First major league game in a while though and the pre-game was all sorts of awesome. Thanks Ninanna. Was also a fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation which raised over $210,000
