So found out yesterday that my temp assignment of 6 months ends next Thursday ...
Hopefully the late winter provides a new opportunity.
Saw "Children of Men" ... One reviewer called it "gloriously depressing" which I think is somewhat accurate... The movie moves very quickly, has an amazing visual style and is quite post-apocolyptic ...
Closest movie might be the brilliant "28 Days Later" (*****) but they are both very different viewpoints.
Would be curious to discuss this with spoilers for anyone interesting.
Very good movie ****
Also saw Charlotte's Web **1/2 .. Which started slow but had a lovely heart ... The spider was a bit too realistic for the small ones.
Have a warm place by the fire and I hope the cold breaks soon.

I barely spent much time in Lewiston/Auburn, but I think that it's safe to say that I'm much happier here than I would have been near the banks of the Androscoggin.
