The temp job is in week 4 and just got back from a totally wicked awesome weekend in San Diego.

Saw my lovely cousin Julia get married on Saturday night at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park ... It was a very lovely and fancy wedding ...

I also got to go snorkeling in La Jolla Cove (totally awesome) unbelievable numbers of fish... and go body surfing in Mission Beach, and then have a great breakfast at a bar/rest. right near the roller coaster ...

Even went to Tijuana at my wife's urging and got to gamble and have some street food .. it was fun but it took 45 minutes!!!! plus to walk back across the border (when I went 6 years ago practically walked through) ...

I would love to go back and swim some more in the Pacific Ocean .. it was warmer in the valleys and TJ though ...

I would also have loved to have the tram working when went to the Wild Animal Park ..as it was we were just completely tired and kept sitting on benches.

Flying out of Portland, ME was great too.
