Rutgers in a Bowl Game???
Who would have thunk it?
But its true on ESPN at 8:30 tonight its Rutgers vs. Arizona State in the Insight Bowl...
I can't tell you how happy this makes me.
Its been 27 years since 1978 when Rutgers played in its only other bowl game at the short lived Garden State Bowl vs. ironically Arizona State.
Saw an absolutely fantastic movie yesterday with two absolutely stunning performances.... The movie is "Walk the Line" ****1/2 ... Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix are both amazing as June Carter and Johnny Cash...
I will provide a longer review with spoilers later ... I also will update with my King Kong Review. I expect great things on that movie. If you can though see "Walk the Line!"

Well, the plantain recipe is pretty trivial.
Take a yellowish-black plantain. Peel and slice (about 1/2" thick). Heat your oven to about 400 (or so, I'm still experimenting). Lightly oil the plantains and put on a silpat (or nonstick baking sheet, but silpats are awesome!). Flip once when browned on top. Eat with a light sprinkling of kosher salt.
Enjoy!
