Novel Writing Madness
This journal might be a bit short ... I am a little tired from all of my writing today.
I have embarked on an adventure call National Novel Writing Month.... The goal of this madness is to write 50,000 words in a month .. roughly 1,667 a day.
My book is called No Filter: A Neo-Travel Memoir of Madness and I have written 4,189 words today. I may be feeling broke, and I didn't sub today but I wrote 4,189 WORDS!!!
If you want to know more about this look at

Also my wife was quoted in the boston Globe Arts section today in the last paragraph ...

This is her section ...
''Make no mistake: You will be writing a lot of crap," warns the NaNoWriMo website. Lanna Lee Maheux-Quinn -- a performance artist from Westbrook, Maine, who's planning a mystery/romance set at a clown convention -- is well aware of it. ''Can I write a book? Sure. Will it [stink]? Probably. Will I have fun? Definitely."
You all have a great november and I will try to have a web version out of the book when I finished.
My nanowrimo profile is rurugby if you want to see an excerpt of the intro and Chapter 1.

I found it exhilarating, frustrating, and altogether spiritually rewarding. My boyfriend at the time hated me, but I thought it was worth it, and it WAS.
