1) I was born in Madison, Wisconsin
2) I have seen only a few really big rock shows .. .U2 at Veterans Stadium -- Philadelphia(1992), Genesis at the Vet (1992).. .Lollapolloza 2 at JFK stadium grounds .. Philly (1993) ... Paul Simon at Central Park ... 1990(??) .. REM at Garden State Arts Center (1998?) ... Simon and Dylan at Holmdel (1997) and the Little Steven Underground Rock Festival (2004) ... I guess thats a few good ones ..
3) One of my favorite live bands is Living Colour who I saw at Mandel Hall .. University of Chicago (1993) and in north London (2001) ... they rock live
4) I am a huge Rutgers Scarlet Knight fan and alum *University College '1998 and cannot believe that they are
5-2 (3-1 Big East).. If they beat Navy they are bowl-eligible
5) I will pretty much try any beer I haven't had before .. probably tried 300-500 by now at least
6) I really like Cranberry Juice with Bombay Gin ... and I also like aquavit ...
7) I love Dark Chocolate (the stronger the better)
8) 10 fav movies .. .Brazil, Ran, Dr. Strangelove, Citizen Kane, Apocolypse Now, Empire Strikes Back, GoodFellas, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Vertigo, Rear Window and Naked Gun (ok thats 12)
9) I like making lists ...
10) I love Nick Hornby books especially Fever Pitch and High Fidelity
11) I grew up just north of Princeton, NJ (Skillman)
12) I won 4 varsity letters in cross country in HS.
13) My best 10K time is 40:32 (Meadowlands 10K HS ... I was a freshman in 1989)
14) I played Rugby at Rutgers University (lock -- 2nd row)
15) I met my wife online ... nerve/bust.com
16) I drive a Mercedes 300D
17) I have been a Phillies fan since around 1982 ..
18) The only part of LA I really like is Princeton West (Claremont) .. the land of trees and Ph.Ds

p.s. I also saw "A History of Violence" yesterday ... If you like character dramas that surprise see it ... the movie is very different from the graphic novel which I also read yesterday (****) but very interesting.
This is one of those movies I can't reveal anything about ...
I give it ****1/2 ... It is one of the best movies of the year.
