Louis is a genius show -- keeps growing on me.

I love that is both sweet and awkward and a little crazy.

Go #FX have also been a Rescue Me fan for a long time. Tommy Gavin makes my life feel sane.

Wow 2 posts in two days.

Decided to have a beer before my writing class today (extension not for credit)

I think it made me chatty and less focused.

So although it tastes good will skip it next time.

The wife is at a writer's conference this week.

So its been a writing-tastical day.

Nice to be back on SG -- was happy to get...

Watching "A Serious Man" -- pretty seriously boring so far -- dentist story is a cute thing.

Not sure why I am continuing to watch it -- did pay to rent it so there you go.

Paid 1/2 attention for much of the time

Insanely beautiful today in Maine -- sunny and in the mid-50s ---

Was so, so nice after the winter to have a bit of May.

Although I know old man winter will be back again soon.

I really do like to live in a place with seasons.

Interesting to see it snow in Maine yesterday and melt away today --

Reminds me of growing up in NJ.
beautifulxalone:
haha...here today, gone tomorrow. NJ isn't like that anymore though. They have more than we do at this point!
hellomrworld:
For a few days -- trust me it will melt

Watching an absolutely fascinating movie about the history of sampling -- "Copyright Criminals" -- was on Independent Lens (PBS) yesterday -- if they are re-broadcasting it -- you should try to see it.

Just fascinating.

Got a shiny new Gateway computer 500 GB and 4GB memory for $500 sweet! -- still getting used to it.

Watching the Golden Globes tonight -- seems to be much, much more boring then normal.

Happy to see "Up In The Air" win best screenplay -- considering how completely different the books were. Give both book and the movie ****.

Happy 2010!

cunninglinquist:
how do you like Windows 7
hellomrworld:
Seems to work really well so far -- pretty happy

Really enjoyed the mid of Indian Summer in early November here in Maine ..

Had to scrape the first frost last night though ... so here comes the winter.

Watching an "American Experience" about the horrors of the Dust Bowl in the 30s .. puts everything else in perspective.

May you all have a great holiday season ... only 9 days until turkey day .....

will go to the diner, as I am not invited to my friends, but then to hear his wife tell me that Glen Beck is right all the time is a turnoff for me

I think he is a comedian --- would be better as John Stewart type then someone people take seriously .. there is the error

Happy to see the Phillies do so well.

Hamels helped take the Phils to the World Series last year ..

Lee and Howard may do it this year.

Go Phillies!
cunninglinquist:
they just won and I think they are a better team all around than the Yankees, better pitching.

Its amazing how fast it gets cold in Maine.

Although I do much enjoy the fall.

Looking forward to checking out the White Mountains next Sunday.

Be good and happy fall!

cunninglinquist:
I heard it dropped to near 40 last night here, I did not get out early enough to see
beautifulxalone:

Feel like the next step is coming soon.

Need to get back into writing, creating, being a star ... I was in a visioning workshop at UUMAC this summer and my mantra was "I'm a writer, I'm a creator, I'm a star"

I wrote a novel a few years ago that was very personal and tempted to look at it again and see if there...
