Good evenings my comrades!
Lazy sunday evening over here... getting black beans prepared for some nice & delicious veggie Chili Con Tempeh tomorrow! Nice and spicy chilly with smoked tempeh, long pointy paprikas and black beans! Ow, and ofcourse some cheddarlike cheese on top afterwards
Last week I went for my 3rd tattoo sessions... all sunwheels are filled right now.
My artists says he wants to outline the long swirling mantras, so there's more of a contract between that mantra and the upcoming dotwork/geometric patterns. He thought red would be a cool colour, but he tried with some red marker pencil; and after a day I got bored. It looked too much like some circus-artwork, didn't like it.
He also proposed to outline it with bronze... but he never used that before in a dotwork tattoo. And I thought silver might be something...
What do you folks think? The mantras are in the colour 'teal', some blueish/greenish thing... the geometric patterns will be blackish (in different levels of 'black'); and the long mantra might get outlined in another colour. Bronze, silver,.. something else? Has anybody got some experience with these colours?
Another possibility should be te leave a certain space 'open', so you just see my skin in between... might also be something
Today was a lazy day... went to the laundrystore... wash-o-rama or how do you call it? Yesterday we washed some stuff at my parent's place, but since we went for a visit to my little nephew in the evenings, not all the laundry was dried, haha... and this morning it smelled awfull! It's very moisty and damp weather over here in Belgium... so we had to do most things over... Can be nice with some nice lecture or music
Check out some nice sets:
AUFALL
RitaVonNeurosis
Marlne
And the beautiful... AnnaLee!
Not much interesting stuff coming up... pretty lame weeks in Belgium, hardly any interesting gigs, weather sucks, no vacation at work.
Last weekend I went to Breda with my gf... very nice little town in the southern part of Holland Chilled there, did some nice citywalks, hung out in the park, had delicious veggie indian food, ow... and went to a coffeeshop for the first time in my life. In the past I always ordered stuff through friends and stuff... but since I prefer hashish instead of the herbs, it was hard to get some 'plasticine' over here. And now I finally have got some new Nepali delight Quite an experience also: a coffeeshop... kind of borderline-esque somehow; and most people in there weren't the friendliest or nicest people around... anyway... we had a blast in Breda, worth paying a visit!
Gonna leave you people with some nice doomy music for the evening... enjy!
And take care
