This year I had 5 birthday cakes (just mine)! My boyfriend and I have the same birthday and we usually have a cake for each of us for the celebrations and there are 5 in total (the one I used in the photo shoot, the 2 from our picnic and the 2 from the family party). This year nothing went as planned but in the end we had the same number of cakes!
Decorated with bows, very cute!
And another bigger one (I don't know if this name applies worldwide) Bem-Casado, a traditional Brazilian sweet, and I chose a strawberry topping, DELICIOUS, I shared it with the beautiful ones @dinhasun and @moniquemagnani (Monique was the one who took my birthday photos this year!)
I really liked my choices and intended to repeat them for the birthday party, but I ended up being hospitalized, so I canceled the orders, but of course my grandmother didn't let it go unnoticed so she brought me a delicious grandma's cake! Traditional dough with white chocolate ganache and pistachio brigadeiros to spoil me, detail: she managed to get the cake into the hospital and take it to me!
Up until now I already had a large stock of deliciousness reserved until 2025, lol, but it didn't stop there because the hospital, knowing it was my birthday, also brought me two mini cakes, one with red fruits and another with chocolate, coconut and almond shavings, also delicious, vegan and gluten-free.
They were so tiny, look how cute!
There's not much bigger than a cupcake!
I don't even know how they managed to fit so much filling into such a small cake, but I loved them all and I really loved the unusual way of celebrating my day!
Do you also have a birthday tradition or a favorite cake to celebrate your day?
If you feel comfortable with it, write blogs and tag me, I would love to know more about your traditions and celebrations.
With love, Kali!
