My father always dreamed of living in Germany, he always had a great feeling of not belonging here in Brazil, despite being born here, his family always had a strong German and Austrian culture, after all, they were immigrants.
My father always had a plan, but when he met my mother and started a family, he gave up, worked for 31 years as a Mechanical Engineer at Mercedes-Benz do Brasil and retired at the beginning of the year.
In a turn of events he finally made his dream come true, and now, with his children raised and on their way, he is moving to Germany, today he embarked, we are all happy and tearful at the same time, but above all very proud of him for not giving up on his dreams and Now, at the age of 57, he is starting over and realizing what he has wanted all his life!
I'm posting this here to serve as motivation and hope for all of us!
