I just don't get this place...

Yeah quite a few SG's said it was way too long when they were critiquing it. I assumed staff would cut a bunch of pics like they used to.....so that's why I made it so long. After submitting this last set, I am really questioning as to whether I still belong here....maybe I haven't belonged in a long time. I know change is inevitable, but that doesn't mean it has to be bad change.

A community.

Like most everyone else, I joined for the pictures. And what do I find...?

A whole, entire, goddamn, motherfucking community.

I'm not good at community.

But - I ask myself - isn't that part of the point...? Isn't this a site for those who feel a little "different?" For the unconventional? For the outsiders? For the misfits?

Ha-ha. I don't know if it's "normal" per se, but it's certainly something I've experienced.

I once left my DVD copy at the apartment of a girl I was seeing at the time and then WE BROKE UP BEFORE I COULD GET IT BACK!!

That was painful.

I eventually had to buy it again...

Yeah, I've discovered that it's best to post replies in other people's comments...it makes life easier.

I had left my two favorite Hitchcock/Jimmy Stewart films at my ex's right before we broke up (Rear Window and Vertigo), and he claims he doesn't have them. But I got his cat, haha!

*sigh* My love for James Stewart is enormous, I don't care if he was a Republican. surreal
