I'm working on a better journal entry than this for today, but I figure I'll update. At least a little.
We're up to our butts in rain here. Well we were last night. Todays just kind of drizzly and foggy. i fell alseep with the sound of wind and rain on the roof, and it was quite cozy. It only lacked the dimension of sharing....

Sorry for the lateness in my responses and getting another journal entry posted. You know being drunk every night since last Tuesday will slow a person's thinking down somewhat. Not it's time for me to pick drunken ass off the ground and clamber back on the wagon for a spell. Or at least for a week or two.
Anyway I never planned to have my...

actally left early enough and made it home within a reasonable time. whats up with you? are you still headed south? if so, stop off in DC (before i move to Little Rock) and we'll have a beer!
josephene:
yes, tell us a story...please...I think we could all use something fun... wink

I'm slowly pulling myself out of the weeds here. While I won't say things are exactly looking up, I will say that they're slowly getting better. Thanks everyone for your kind words. I sure do appreciate it.
The funny thing about this week was it was a whole serious of events, that while they pissed me off royally, weren't really anything more than highy irritating....

I. Pavement-Spit On A Stranger I can't seem to stop listening to this one. It fits my life right now like a warm pair of panties-straight from the dryer.
2.Tearfully forgotten, of course. I'm a softy.
3. A Dairy Queen bathroom on I35 South (a freeway in Texas). It was a long drive, and we got to playing around, and had to find a sink to lean on. Woo boy! When we came out afterwards, a woman was waiting and gave us the meanest Southern Baptist scowl that I have ever seen (and Lord, I have seen some mean ones)

I hope your birthday was just fabulous, even more...fabulicious! I can't wait to see what you've done...pics!!! YAY!!!

Your questions...
1, Underneath it all by No Doubt. I love this song, and there's a fantasy I have that involves it. blush
2. Remember me, but laugh, and enjoy my life. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
3. Feb. in the snow, at Kokomo Speedway at 3 a.m. I was so drunk on Hot Damn...ahhh, memories.

Okay so I just learned it's pretty much pointless to buck fate and try to make the best of things. After the disasters of this week, the plan was to say the hell with it and end it on a good note. But my friend's flight was cancelled halfway and she got stuck in cincinati, her only option to lay over in Atlanta and fly...

Hey, guy! Things improved any? Just like TS Eliot said, "April is the cruelest month..." (Don't I know it...got a birthday coming up! Ack!)

Um...isn't "Hud" based on a novel by "Mr. Lonesome Dove", Larry McMurtry?? Man, I LOVE that movie. I watch Paul Newman in that film and turn to molten liquid. Oh, baby! blush

May you have a painless weekend...

PS: I'll cash in on my "virtual" 10-points now... smile

Everyone who was hankerin' for that story might have to hang on to their drawers for a bit. I got 8 million things to do and 2 hours to do them in. I have to clean my bathroom, clean the rest of the house kind of (it being such a wreck now I don't really care, I mean you can't polish a turd) go to...

The fury.
It takes a lot to enrage me, and when it happens it's never pretty. Thankfully I can control it. Otherwise today it would have been double homicide time for me. So I'm getting bounced out of the house I live in because the guy who lived there before is moving his girlfriend and her 13 yearold daughter in, and I have to split....

I just want to state that I love the wind. My friend Tim, depite being a burly farmer type, is scared of it. It actually frightens him. I fins this kind of funny. But the wind is howling today. Not like it does out West or anything, but it got some heft to it today. Of course where I work and where I live is...

I love the whole heavy, humid, pre-thunderstorm thing. When you can smell and taste the moisture in the air, and everything sort of has this "electric" quality. Guess I've read too much Tennessee Williams.
Nice, very nice... wink

Oh crap folks. It's raining again. well actually it hasn't really stopped since Wednesday. It's kind of dreary to say the least. Also I'm one week shy of my 30th birthday, but I've decided that it's to be a cause of celebration and not one of me mourning my getting older. Now if I can just convince my friends not to break my balls...Vain hope...

Ok, I changed the picture to the one of me looking like a tranny. It's funny, and it definitely won't make anyone jealous. And I guess I really don't know how much you know, but what you do know is interesting. I don't know anyone who likes the hillbilly music I like. I get a lot of teasing for it. smile
catiedid:
ahhhhh love....perhaps..... blush

bathroom color looks just as tragic today as it did last night. but i've decided to stick with it until all the work is done and make a decision when it is all over.

how are you today. smile

I'm taking a night off. Well not from here, but from drinking. I had too much fun last night and I need to relax for a time. Plus I can't afford to be carrying on like this anyway.
But what kind of journal entry would it be if I didn't clue you in to what kind of an ass I was last night. Here it...

Oh kids, it's raining here. A lot. Hopefully we won't have a repeat of last year where it rained more here than in Oregon and Washington State. Thanks for again for all the nice things you guys said about the terrible story with the cockrings, strippers, and baby oil (see previous journal entry) sometimes it's good to get that stuff off my chest. For all...

Wow, your whole life seems to be some sort of coming-of-age-while-floating-down-the-river movie. You play the one kid with glasses--maybe they call you "Brain", something like that. You have some irrational fear, but somehow by overcoming it you rescue everyone and teach us all a little about ourselves. smile kiss

Hellbilly topless!!!! YIPPPPEEEE!! Great pics. I love tubing. Haven't done it in years. So much fun to kick back on a tube, beer in hand, sunshine, cool water and friends.... biggrin
