Well it's een a busy week for old Hellbilly. A week of exciting and dynamic changes in my life. A week now that it's over I realize I'll never be the same again.
Actually I'm jerkin' y'all's chain, but it was a good week nonetheless. We shot some stuff for my film Monday and Tuesday, and I have to say that went really well. Surprisingly well actually, though I hesitate to say that because that's basically asking someone to lose the footage we shot those days.
Now we need to shoot for a week or so mid August and we will have shot everyting we need for the end of the film. Then after that all we have to do is shoot for five weeks in January and February and we'll have the rest of it. So really I think we're over the hump. It's all downhill from here. Or is it uphill? I can never remember. IT's like that saying, " We'll cross that bridge when we get to it." I always say " We'll burn that bridge when we get to it, " which apparently means something else altogether. in fact for years I was saying, " What do you mean cross it? I thought we were burning it," much to the consternation of all who were around me. Now that I'm older I realized that that saying doesn't mean what I thought it meant.
So I guess what I'm really trying to say here is have a great 4th of July weekend everyone. Celebrate it with the fervor that your individual political beliefs dictate, and for heavens sake people try not to blow any of your digits off in the fervor. In fact I'll be back here on Monday so to check that everyone has the same amount of digits they had when they last commented.
