It has been a long time since I have updated, but I have been doing a lot of things recently.
The biggest thing is my father was diagnosed with cancer and has since passed away. I feel I was very close to him, but of course could have been much closer. That took a lot of time as my parents lived across that street (my mother has since sold the house, or near enough). I am known among my friends as being without feelings, don't know how true that is, but I can say I have only shed a tier of two. I loved him and only have a couple of things that I ever felt he did "wrong" at least in what he thought. Other then that he has nothing but respect from me. I am so very glad he did not suffer. He led a good life I think and just wish I could have done more to make him proud of me.
My mother decided to move as she did not want to live in a house that my father had worked on so much, which I can completely understand, but that as well took up a lot of my time. She is now out east with my brother and sister. She seems to be doing well.
On a litter note
I took my dog to obedience training where he did well, of course had I done more out side of class he would have done much better, but there you go I have never been one for homework. Willie was a stray when I got him and is one of the most wonderful dogs I have ever come across. I have wanted a dog for along time, just never wanted to put in the responsibility of owning one. Of course with a pit-bull it was either take him to the pound and have them put him down or keep him.
This weekend I am going to be going to DragonCon so will hopefully have a good time.
Hope all have a great day.
