Captivated Sleeper

I want to sink deeper into the dream.
The one where Time is a void.
I want to drown in a timeless stream,
where apathy toward Self can be employed.
I dont sleep the way I used to.
There are no visions- just blackness.
There is no finding the likes of you,
at the bottom of some great abyss.
I have a burning need to return to this.
I dont require that you comprehend
what insanity goes on in the back of my mind.
Or to also desire this means to an end;
the craving to leave emotionality behind.
Tie me up in claw-frayed ribbon,
then tell me the dreams are not gone for good.
Leave me in darkness one time again,
then pretend this is an act youve always understood.
And let the nightmare take me, if ever it could.
But take not the shackles-
I sleep best a captive.
