Jagged Ledges
Lyrics By: L.B. Carter-Ranger

Hold on just a minute
honey,
I dont think you get it.
You dont know why Im in it-
and it aint for the attention.
Let me let you in on this
honey,
with words you cant dismiss.
Youre only so quick to resist-
and to deny your true intention.
But Ive seen things you havent seen.
Ive been to the edge and back.
You want to know
when did I go
over to the darker side.
I was always there,
all thats changed is care-
and I no longer care to hide.
I feel like standing on the edges
of desolate and jagged ledges.
And should I become
careless and fall,
death will be one more journey
and that is all.
Ill come back from the edge,
a shadow on my jagged ledge.
Open up your mind to me
baby,
and open those blind eyes and see.
Kill moralitys rules thoroughly-
and then youll understand this.
Vanity isnt so cliche
baby,
as the schism tries to say.
Their pretenses will waste away-
but you can have a perfect bliss.
Youll know things theyll never know.
Youll be one more step ahead.
You want to know
when did I go
over to the darker side.
I was always there,
all thats changed is care-
and I no longer care to hide.
I feel like standing on the edges
of desolate and jagged ledges.
And should I become
careless and fall,
death will be one more journey
and that is all.
Ill come back from the edge,
a shadow on my jagged ledge.
Yes, we could lose footing
and fall so gracefully.
A million lovely pieces laying
on the ground so innocently.
But all the kings horses and
all the kings men,
will gasp in pure amazement when
we rise up together again...
And stand back on that jagged ledge.
Yeah, well come back from those edges,
shadows on our jagged ledges.
