Went to Macworld in SF on Friday. I dunno why I go to these things anymore just lots of chaos and too many people. But I get one of those free tickets from a friend and I end up going. I did by an amazing synthesizer program at the Guitar Center booth. It's called Absynth. Whis is all to appropriate since I love to drink the stuff as well. Anyway... I love the program and it's pushing me in creative directions I would have never fathomed. Good fun.
I also had a great time hanging out with my photography friends Julia and Paul. We always have a good time together. We went out to dinner at some weird place outside the city a "Food Arcade" basically a glorified food court... but with surpringly really good food. There were to many choices though. Everything from Thai and Korean food, to Jamaicain and Greek. I went for Jamaican curry chicken it was excellent.
Then we went over to Ikea to look at el cheapo home supplies I've never been before so that was sort of fun. The place does seem to have everything. Then it was back in to the city to Amoeba records for some new music. I picked up a re-issue of The Cure's Faith album, an Original David Bowie Diamond Dogs, and Danzig just for kicks. My friend Julia added to her Bright Eyes collection. Then it was over to Cha Cha Cha's in the Haight for Sangria and Chips and Salsa. All in all a good night. We made it home alive considering it was Friday 13th.
