Wow, I know I haven't really posted anything substantial in a while but a lot of shit has been going on so been kinda out of it... first of.. my grandfather passed about 2 months ago.. then a month later my dad was hospitalized with a tumor on his kidney.. sooo... over all been really really busy plus new job.. its been hectic as hell.
Anyway I was looking at my groups and remembered that I posted about 5 months ago a poem I had written in my creative writing class in college. I went back and read it and felt bad... b/c when I wrote it I wasn't thinking of my grandfather specifically just about older grandparents that lose their significant other....
Here it is..
He Sits Alone
The lion's mane
long fallen. Tired
and old, he lays
under the shade
of the lone tree.
Moving has become
too much as his
ribs rest hard along
the dirt. His
den brings food
less these days.
His time past,
My Grandfather sits alone.
Anyways... if you guys (all three that read this blog) like it I will post my others... I am not getting them published anyway so plagarize the crap out of them if you like... just use me as a reference![smile](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/smile.0d0a8d99a741.gif)
