The Beastmaster is on channel 5 (WB) in Los Angeles right now (12 midnight.) It's one of the cheesiest fantasies ever made, but I love every second of it. Marc Singer is awesome as the beastmaster. Rip Torn is horribly miscast as the villain with the hawk-like prosthetic nose, and podo and kodo are the best ferrets ever to appear on film. This is 80s low budget film making at it's best. The transference spell from the pregnant woman to the cow is classic. Hilarious stuff.
