My parents have a hybrid - very cool car. Zippier than it sounds in description - Drive one & you'll be surprised. & that new transmission is very cool. The engine actually shuts off at red lights & drive thrus, etc & then just pops back on.

I've always dug the Prius, so go for that.....Hybrids still make me laugh though, from the old news story about the 2 fat guys that couldn't go up a hill in theirs so they sued the company
