Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I've been having problems with my computer. I was having this kernel 32 dll problem, so I reinstalled Windows. Big mistake! I went to install the drivers from my Dell resourse cd, only to discover that Dell put the wrong drivers on the cd. I called Dell, and the geniuses told me that I could download the drivers from their web site. This is a neat trick, since I needed to download the driver for my modem!
I also couldn't save the drivers on a floppy disk, since the drivers for the a drive also had to be downloaded. Using someone else's computer, I burnt the drivers on a cd. I brought the cd home and popped into the cd rom only to discover that the drivers were burned at a speed too fast for my computer to read!
When I asked someone to install the drivers for me, I let him talk me into installing Windows 2000, instead of Windows 98. I got the computer back, onlly to discover that I couldn't do anything on the computer bacause my optical mouse no longer worked. I had to go out and get a regular mouse, so I could reinstall my optical mouse's software. Then I discovered two more problems: My HP Office Jet software and my Seagate Backup Exec software don't run on Windows 2000. So my computer works, but I can't use the printer or my backup device. What else can happen?
You'll see: I'll finally get these two problems solved and
my computer will explode.
