Could you please tell me how to write a salable screenplay? I'm reading John Truby's "The Anatomy of Story: 22 Steps to Becoming a Master Storyteller," and I can tell you right now it's going to be no help at all. Did I mention there are 22 steps? Besides the 22 steps, there's an algebraic formula: W + A = C, where W=weakness, A=action and C=the character's change. And I thought I was done with algebra after I graduated from high school.

Who could possibly write this way? Perhaps, only John Truby, the "master storyteller" who wrote for "21 Jump Street."
