I'm in pain
I went for a long ride on my moutain bike yesterday. 5 hours riding & not one flat section in the whole thing
I'm suffereing today though. I think I'm a bit out of practice
It's actually my shoulders & neck that are the worst. I'd forgotten how much harder it is to ride a hardtail rather than full suspension bike. On a full sus you can pretty much glide over the rough sections letting the bike do most of the work. On a HT you really have to man handle the bike to stay on line. Its fucking hard work
Took a few photos but not as many as I wanted to as I was later than planned & didn't want to be stuck out in the hills in the middle of nowhere in the dark. As it was I got back to the car just in time. By the time I'd got changed & loaded the bike into the car it was almost pitch black.
I then had an hours drive along mountain roads in the rain to get back to my sisters. That wasn't so much fun.
After all that excercise it was time for some nice healthy KFC before collapsing into bed at 8:30
