so many new girls! my head is a snowglobe and all the new girls are the bits of plastic that float around when shaken.
so, yeah, me and dancingyosarian glup....shot a set. yes, of me. i am trying to find a place to develop them. they're on 35mm film and i don't have a handy photo lab. i mean, there are some independent photo labs in town, but i am a little shy about asking them. so i am making d.y. do it. well, wish me luck with the application process and maybe, if you guys wish really hard, i will be naked on the internet.
if you want to read good stuff on this website, read d.y.'s comments on the shoplifting thread. i am so proud of him.
things i'm doing:
trying to put together an anarchist discussion group in my home town (difficulty level 11) learning about plants, painting, writing, japanese and watching the old skool spawn cartoon.
here's a little writing sample:
There was a girl Jonah was seeing. Her name was Lenora and he had met her when she got hired on at the coffee shop he worked at. Lenora was a plain, determined girl, who was slightly dazzled by Jonah, though he never knew why. They had been seeing each other for about two months and they hadnt had sex yet. This was a thought that Jonah was ashamed of, though that didnt stop him from having it whenever she was around. Of course, if was all his fault that sex never happened. Whenever Jonah had her alone, among the dirty clothes and ancient blankets on his bed, she would push him gently to continue and Jonah would look at the flesh she had exposed and would stop. To avoid these times, which were embarrassing and awkward for the two of them, they usually just went to the movies.
On almost every night that they spent together, it was a given that at some point a movie would be watched. They usually went down to Jonahs favorite movie theater, the Tristessa, which was just a few blocks away from his apartment. He favored this place because it still played the silents that were trendy a few years ago, but had since stopped being cool. Jonah didnt even know if Lenora even liked the movies or not; he had never asked and she had never complained. Sometimes he wondered if the only reason he and Lenora went to the movies so often was so that they didnt have to talk.
