no word from the animal shelter. i have to go videogameslinging for hopefully the last time tomorrow before i get a new job. i have painted today, which is rare and unexpected.
i am making friends with my fellow students in my japanese class. they are all cool nerds. it's funny how the trauma of being a japanese major can really bring lost souls together.
hot weather. bike riding.
it's funny how some people spend their days in a bubble of air conditioning. i couldn't afford that even if i wanted to, though it does mean that i am too hot to take a bath. do you guys ever go out looking for discarded items? i do. the best thing i ever found was a working typewriter. i started my story on that thing. it is now enshrined on my bookself and i use it with reverence.
i really appreciate your comments on my journals every day. it is hard to find thinking people in my part of the world. thanks.
