Sorry for not being about much recently. The children have had so much on, involving me being Taxi driver and being very bored on occasions. I really like them to have lots of activites, between them they have, Dancing, Trampolining, Football, Swimming, Cricket and Gymnastics plus all the school sports and drama activities. Sometimes it does wear me down and at the moment, I'm quite looking forward to the end of term. Please don't remind me I said that in a few weeks when I'm tearing my hair out, I know I'll live to regret it.
The weather here is the pits. I'm sure that like a sponge, we will soon have so much water, that the UK will sink into oblivion. Perhaps we will all develope gills and live out eternity as creatures of the deep. It's to be expected though, it is afterall, Wimbledon fortnight, one huge rain magnet. I don't know why we bother with it really, especially as we're so crap at tennis. Oh and before that it was Ascot, another rain magnet. Then in a few weeks, it will be school holidays, so plenty of rain to come then. I feel so sorry for all the people who have been flooded and it makes me grateful that I don't live in an area that particularly floods, although I'm sure there have been a few. Sam's got a bucket in the garden to catch the water to see how much we get, it's at 7 inches at the moment, thats over about 3 weeks. He claims it to be accurate, but I have my doubts.
On a personal note, I'm not too bad at the moment, generally happy with just one or two weepy moments. I have a major problem with my knee though. I dislocated it a number of years ago and it seems to be causing me one or two problems, particularly when it's cold and wet. I'm due to see my doctor for one of my monthy "Are you ok and glad you're still alive" appointments, so I'll try to mention it. I hate mentioning anything new, but I'll try.
I hope I haven't bored you too much, I didn't really have much to say, but wanted to update to thank those that commented on my last journal and let you know I was still about.
Hope you are all doing well and have a good week.
Take care my friends.
