ok....so it's sunday again, and it's mothers day, the day for all mothers to be remembered and thanked for all the hard work they've put in. so a huge hug to all the mum's in the world.
i had my own wonderful start to the day when my 12 year old son brought me breakfast in bed accompanied by the most beautiful beaming smile. i hugged him for an age and was reduced to tears by his thoughtfulness. he now thinks i'm mad, but i love him so much.
i had a beautiful card from him with lots of love and kisses in it from him, along with a bunch of silk flowers that he'd put together at school.
i had an equally beautiful card from my daughter, also with lots of love and kisses and a cd from her, always a winner with me, a cd. she had a huge hug, but she is a bit more reserved than him so it didn't last as long, which is a shame. but maybe she will change in time. i love her heaps too.
reality hit when i got downstairs though, and discovered the mess from the breakfast making. i cleaned it up with good humour though. loving my kids the whole time.
they have been perfect angels all day, not a cross word or an argurment from either of them. they are trying so hard to make today special and i adore them for it.
anyway, that's enough of my gushing, just wanted to share my beautiful day and family with you. i hope all mother's celebrating today are receiving the same wonderful treatment as me.
