I have sinned.
For lunch today I went and got a McDick's Big Mac meal. I think it has been like 6 months, and the last time ate that shit I think I was drunk. In any case, I came back to my office, went to www.nutritiondata.com (which is an AWESOME website, by the way), and looked at the info on the Big Mac. 50% of your daily fat, 42% of your saturated fat. I forced myself to eat the burger only AFTER I had looked at the data. Then I ate, and read it over again.
It was a very strange experience. On the one hand, I was starving. On the other, even more so than usual, I was quite conscious of the effects what I was eating would have on my health.
A very strange, self abusing, and revolting experience. God, I can't believe I used to eat the stuff all through high school!!!!
An interesting fact though: Big Macs are an excellent source of iron, folate and B12. Still not worth it though.
