In one week it is my 23rd birthday.
I find myself thinking of my flight back from St.Louis back at the beginning of June. I remember clouds. They were below us, so we couldn't see the ground, but somehow the air pressure was in such a way that they were in front of us and behind us as well. Like walls. And above us also. A ceiling of clouds. But off to the front there was a break in the wall to the west as the sun went down. A room made of clouds. I cannot think of how to describe it without it sounding lame. Please understand me when I say it was beautiful. Please understand me when I say that I wish every moment was like that: a flash of such obvious magnificence that you cannot think of anything else and when it is a girl it causes your friends to say "stop staring".

i cant wait to drink an american beer cause its gotta be better than the american cigarettes
i understand about the clouds. my first time on a plane it was a stormy stormy day and we rose above the clouds and i saw the sun. i never thought about the fact that there is another world up there on top of those grey clouds.
And then the flight at nighttime, well it looks like you can just roll around in those clouds with the pretty blue light making skin look pretty. i could live there forver.
